Don't let that dress collect dust- put it to use!

We alllllll do it! We buy that gorgeous dress for that one wedding or special occasion and never wear it again, because it's not hijabi so we can only wear it at all sister's parties and if we wear it to a party within the century someone will remember we wore it to that last one. UH-OH! then, after the party is over, and you've had your fun you get overcome by regret. The dress doesn't seem too great once your credit card bill comes gallavanting in the mail (those darn bills!).

SO WHAT"S A GIRL TO DO? Allah doesn't like it when we waste, so let's not. Go into your closet and dig deep in the corners for all those dresses. Use the outfit above to dress it down, and make it ready to wear everyday, or just transform it with another top or some accessories so you can wear it at that next party -save you money, and no one will notice - (and like I always say) those who DO notice, will just think you're creative!

What I did in the outfit above, was I took a very formal dress, and added a top from oldnavy with the same dominant color. Then, a hijab to match, and a belt to pull it all together. Plus, who doesn't love a wrap up gladiator sandal? I certainly do!

NOOOOOWW you're wondering, what's this crazy sister doing with leggings on the side of the page? Sisters, you're about to hear something that may save you as a hijabifashionista! I'm always talking about sleeves - like " if you think it's too hot to wear a long sleeve under the tee just wear sleeves. " And you're like, where do I get these infamous SLEEVES you're always talking about? hehe well besides ebay and some muslim stores on the net (also on the right hand side of the blog), just go to the mall, buy some leggings in the smallest size, cut them to the right lenth and use them as sleeves! I do it sisters! It works, it's cheap, it's convinient, and it's copyrighted as of.. now! hehe

Hope you enjoyed this look, and will recover those dresses from your closet! Let's not waste now, sisters!
