Now sisters, as hijabis - you're already doing that! But to make your look different from that other hijabi modestly strutting her stuff down the street, wear pieces you love - and don't give a damn. THe dress is a little formal for the street, so maybe for eid or a party. For the street I would probably put a vest over it, wear some bangles and long necklaces to tone it down from formal and up to boho.
