Inspired by: Agyness Deyn

So, one of my favorite models is Agnyess Deyn. She's just......great! haha

Anyway, I saw this ad and I created an outfit based on it! I decided I was going to calm down on the leather jackets for a while because I almost felt like I over did that.. NO. I take that back.

So anyway, instead I put the heather in gloves. In my eyes, Gloves make an outfit go one level up on the chic scale!

I also love studded belts- especially after I saw SJP wear one in Sex and the City because OMG it looked amazing. Okay, so I used one of those to bring an edgier look. However, I wanted it to look SJP style so I added feminine heels and a clutch that almost seems like it doesn't belong - but it does. I'm just going to congratulate myself on this one because I'm loving it! Let me know if you would rock this look!

fav Hijabi Pic yet

So you know how I get REAALLLY excited when I find a picture or a vid or ANYTHING really cool?? YEAH. SO. THIS IS MY FAV YET!

Don't you love it? I just love it!

LOOK AT HER ABAYA!! You guys, since I found this pic a few weeks ago, I've been dreaming about one just like it-- seriously! (You're like, omg you need a life) but for real... insha allah. haha

THE PATTERNS ON THAT! Masha allah I would never throw that away! I would never get sick of it! I would hang it up in my room and just gaze at it. I love it!

And she's beautiful as well masha allah. I just feel like someone's going to comment saying something about the make up, so I'm going to beat you to it and invite all of you to comment on what you think about make up and hijab? A friend of mine brought the subject up and I'm a lover of foundation, bronzer and mascara..... What do you think? Is it okay if it's simple like the the pic above? When are you crossing the line?

Prints! Gorgeous Gorgeous Prints!

So I was on a sister's blog that was pointed out to me by another sister; she posts pictures of her outfits on her site, so it's really nice to see the outfit on a person if you want to check her out! Her outfits are quite fashionable .. very different, you can tell she likes unusual pieces- much like myself.

Some sisters asked for younger fashion and so you can check out her blog, I think some of her outfits are a bit more youthful hehe, and so I decided to put together an outfit that would work for the season and suit the younger sisters - although anyone can pull this look off!

I picked out a dress inspired by the perfume "daisy" by Marc Jacobs. I thought to myself; youthful. HMMMM. He described his perfume as a "youthful" fragrance so I associated the word with the perfume, and then daisy and flowers and BAM!! hahaha

The dress was the starting point for the rest of the outfit. I wanted to keep it pretty centered - using the colors in the dress to inspire the colors for the cardigan, flats , and ring. For the bag however, I needed a POP! So, I went with an unusual color- one you wouldn't expect (like I and the sis in the blog above does in her outfits), and I LOVE IT! How about you??

Fall 2008 Fashion Hijab Wrap Style

New Fall 2008 Hijab Wrap Style:
Our Fall Hijab Style is made with a regular shayla and our NEW Accessory Shayla - a stiff chiffon sheer oblong scarf used to dress up any scarf or wrap style. This fashion is worn most often in Egypt and is all the rage for weddings, parties and celebrations. This style is ultra chic and modern. Enjoy :)

What you need: 1 shayla hijab, 1 Chiffon Accessory Shayla (found in our Accessories section), an al amira hood or neck cover, and LOTS of hijab stright pins ( found in our hijab pins section).

Step one: Tie your hair in a bun at the nape of your neck.

Step two: Put on the neck cover or al amira hood to ensure neck and chest coverage*. Note: An al amira hood, or neck cover will not fully cover your bust. You'll need something else in addition to it.

Step three: Place the regular shayla hijab in the middle on top of your head. Bring the two end pieces together evenly in the back and tie beneath your bun.

Step Four: Take the Ciffon Accessory Shayla and place it in the middle of your head, one inch or so behind the regular shayla. Makes sure both ends are even and tie beneath your bun, also beneath the reglular shayla's knot (instead of on top of it.)

Step Five: Take the right end of the regular shayla and bring it up around the middle of the top of your head and around to the left ear. Tie it once to the left end of the regular shayla.

Step Six: Take the right end of the Chiffon Accessory Shayla and bring it up and around the top of your head behind of the wrapped end of the regular shayla. Make sure both pieces (the accessory shayla and the regular shayla) lay as flat as possible against your head. Use straight pins to secure if necessary.

Step Seven: Tie the end of the Chiffon Accessory Shayla to the corresponding opposite end. There will be very room for the tie. Tuck it in beind the wrapped regular shayla and secure with stright pins.

Step Eight: Take the free end of the Chiffon Accessory Shayla and scrunch a small portion of it up near your ear and pin with a straight pin. Keep doing this until you have used up the entire piece. The look to shoot for is a sort of "messy flower." You'll need LOTS of straight pins of this.

Step Nine: Lastly, bring the free end of the regular shayla up and pin in to the side of your wrap so that it drapes as shown in the picture. Another style option is to scrunch it up behind the accessory shayla. Done!

Red Rose Hijabicap - Fashion Hijab Style

Gorgeous Red Rose Hijabicap has golden motif embossed on the fabric of the shayla. The piece is made of an attached shayla and undercap. Has large rose flower piece attatched to the back to add fullness. Its what makes the piece so unique and beautiful. Shayla ends have fringe. A chic addition to your hijab collection.

Malaysian Wedding and Formal Hijab Fashions

Aboslutely gorgeous wedding and formal fashions from Malaysia. Very feminine, elegant and ornate. My favorite is the royal blue main frame with the cute tiara. :)

Like it? What do you think?

It's a fact that black's the new black and yellow is so melloww

It's fall and soo cold over here! Soon everyone's going to be carrying a thermos (oh and here in the 'peg, we alllll do!).

As I said, I love these cardigans this season where they're longer in the front than the back - and there's no need to tie them up in the front. Let it HANNG, you'll look effortlessly fashionable.

I'm loving the long strap bags this season, I have one, and although I look a fool running to class after lunch hour late with it bouncing off the back of my legs, it looks good everywhere else.
A crazy patterned minimalist top looks great under a cardigan that will tone the whole look down. I looove this outfit!

I took the yellow and black idea from the photos I found below and used them in the outfit above. The first one is a hijabi taxi driver - loving it! The second one is a graduate! It's funny because her school colors are the same as mine... I'm loving the khaleeji hijab under the cap! Might just use it myself insha allah!
