Holy Designers.. continueeeed! and will continue

New designer, company thing! On one of the comments a sister reccomended this site for me, and it's pretty nice. I probably wouldn't shop there, but I think my mom would LOVE it! And she's can be pretty fashionable mind you. The website? http://www.taqwaiman.com/
This pic above was something I really love about the site - it has outfits set up for you created with their products! This is seriously handy!

This is something I don't necessarily like, I feel that it cuts off too short for my taste, but it could look great on someone else! What I want to tell you, is to accessorize it up!

This is something I like. It's long, and a pretty color. When I first looked at it, I thought "I don't see why it has this collar, because it's not going to be seen under the hijab anyway" but then I remembered something I posted a while ago, about tucking your hijab in. Subhanallah, I forgot my own Hijabifashionista tip!
I personally don't like the material it's made of- but hey, I'm looking through a computer screen, and I'm sure we hijabi fashionistas could rock this top!

however, I LOVE THEIR SHOES!! they're so different and stylish! ANND affordable.. close to 30 US.
Go check out the site and be sure to check out their skirts.. pretty nice.

Just because I wouldn't shop there, doesn't mean I wouldn't tell you, as hijabifashionista , it's my duty to tell you what's out there! And jazak allah anon. sister for telling me about this site!

Just bringing ideassss..

So i've created a picture that i LOVE and would totally wear ! I know that comments are going to show up about the skirt being too short - then I'll add that the boots are high enough to cover it, and then more comments will come in that say the boots are too tight. OK. Point taken, but you can still wear this look, with a wide boot leg! Buy a cowboy boot and wear it with a turqouise med. length dress (i'm too scared to say jean skirt because I dislike them verrry much!)

Anyway, back to boots. You'll see in stores the knee length boots, I LOVE THEM, some people don't. most people. But you know why? because they think they're supposed to be for clubbing or something - but my fellow hijabifashionistas... you can MAKE IT WORK! Look for a pair that isn't too clingy, but if it is, you can still wear 'em to parties (yes, the shopaholic in me is talking.. spend that 100 for one occasion sistaaa! haha). The good thing about knee high boots, is that most med. length skirts land at the knee or right under, you'd be lucky to find ones mid calve which would be perfect for your regular tall boots, but with the knee high, you can go with a shorter skirt, and it'd be okay!

Those are my hijabifashionista tips for the day!

27 Dresses >>> #12

Hijabis go out too, and never should a hijabi sstay home from a party just because she has nothing to wear - and never should a hijabifashionista go out to a party looking not-so-great because she didn't know HOW to dress up! I made this dress for the younger girl - someone older than sixteen can def. pull it off, but maybe look for a diff. style dress at the same length. Regardless of what I said earlier about not dressing from head to toe in one color - it's done here just for a party occasion when it's OK to match instead of mix.

I used a white pant here because it ADDS to the outfit. Imagine if I used a black pant, i think because it's too dark that it would take away from the outfit, with a white pant, you look like you thought more about the outfit since everyone owns that black trouser!

Just a reminder that you CAN wear that gorgeous dress on display at your favorite store - you just have to wear it diff than it's being displayed!

Hijabis in Hats: Smooth Sailing

The sailor's cap - totally wearable. You will radiate confidence!
Watch out -- just because you look like a super chic sailor, doesn't mean you have to SOUND like a sailor. As hijabis, we're representing Islam- and cursing in public totally sends out the wrong message!

Animal Inspired: Peacock

The peacock is one of my favorite animals, so making an outfit inspired by it, was soo incredibly fun! I think I'll make more peacock inspired outfits because diff peacocks contain diff colors in their feathers making it that much easier, and that much more fun to create outfits! Allah has made this otherwise very odd looking animal so gorgeous with the amazing colors in it's feathers. It's weird, but I think, that if the animal were human - it would be soo fashionable! hehe

Get this look:
-Buy different peacock inspired pieces - a bag, shoes, diff accesories with a solid top in one of the peacockish colors (purple, green, turqoise, blue..) OOR a top with a definate peacock pattern, and go solid with the accessories.. you don't want to peacock overload! hehe

So dress in peacock inspired outfits and strut that stuff tranny!

Safari Inspired!

In celebration of one of the newest trends- Safari --I'm starting yet another great part of my blog - Animal Inspired outfits!

The one above is an outfit I created that isn't animal inspired- but just safari inspired - which is definatly just as great! If you don't want to rock the animal prints and inspired outfits, then just go with safari style.

To get this look:

- bags with braided rope straps
- beiges, browns..
- many patterns - diagonal or straight strips
- everyone should own one structured safari jacket
- printed bangles -- if all the other pieces are solid colors, with barely any prints, go with printed accessories

Go hunting for these spec. pieces!

Hijabis in Hats: A little too much chocolate, is just about right.

A new section of this fashionable blog: Hijabis in Hats!
I want to see more hijabis in hats-- and i'm not talking about our brothers' nasty baseball caps, I'm talking about fashionable hats that coordinate with your outfit- or atleast your hijab! (that was another hijabifashionista tip! .Jot.that.down.)

Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies..
